Advocating Opportunity (AO) works to end human trafficking and labor exploitation by serving all ages addressing the root causes of systemic vulnerabilities which significantly contribute to human trafficking. This work is achieved thorough direct representation, services, individual advocacy, policy initiatives, education, outreach, and consulting to eliminate racism, oppression, and poverty and to address and dismantle other systemic responses which create vulnerabilities in our clients. AO provides direct holistic legal services, support, and advocacy for trafficked and exploited persons on a trauma-responsive, legal, and human rights-based framework.
