Butler County Moms and Babies First
Resource Details
Moms and Babies First: Ohio's African American Infant Vitality Program works to reduce the number of pre-term births, low birth weight babies and infant deaths within Butler County's African American community. Certified Community Health Workers (CHWs) provide culturally appropriate, family centered services during frequently scheduled home visits. CHWs educate parents and families on prenatal and postpartum care, including education and act ivies on toddler health care through baby's first birthday.
