It is the mission of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to provide opportunities and support to people with physical challenges, so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. The Challenged Athletes Foundation believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life. We host several events around the US and offer Grant programs.
Service Limitations: Any individual with a permanent physical disability pursuing an active lifestyle through physical fitness or competitive athletics is eligible. The individual’s permanent disability must impair mobility, affect the neuromuscular system, impair balance, or motor control.
