Deaf World Against Violence Everywhere (DWAVE)

Deaf World Against Violence Everywhere (DWAVE) specialize in victim advocacy with people that have experienced abuse/crime with a holistic approach. DWAVE provides trauma-informed mental health assessement and referral with specialized safety planning, needs and strengths based services. DWAVE assist with and advocate for needs related to ADA access, legal, housing, material assistance, ASL videos, outreach and prevention, and educational resources. Other services include crisis intervention, counseling, emotional support, free self defense classes and survivor support services, 24 hour avocacy video response for survivors of sexual assault.
