Edison Community College Child Development Center
Resource Details
The Child Development Center is a nationally accredited developmental program of care and education for children 3 years of age through kindergarten. The program is open to the children of Edison State students, faculty, staff, as well as to parents from local communities. The mission of the Child Development Center is to provide high quality education and care experiences—utilizing engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that promote the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative growth of children—while serving as a model for college students who are studying early childhood education. The program observes a staff/child ratio of one teacher for every eight children.
