For Good believes that we all have the desire to do good for each other, and works to facilitate these connections. For Good seeks to support interactions that demonstrate that giving is easier than we may realize, and that the impact is profound.
IT ALL STARTED IN 2017 WHEN…
we looked at our daughters’ doll collections and realized that there was no representation of Muslim women. We had a simple idea to create miniature hijabs for dolls to help children recognize, talk about and understand diversity. Once launched, the effort garnered unexpected attention and positive feedback, and we realized we had struck a chord. The surprise success of Hello Hijab demonstrated to us that small acts can have big impacts, and turned into a movement to find ways to do and inspire good.
