Genesis Youth Crisis Center

Genesis Youth Center, Inc. was established in 1980 to address a specific and pressing community need: to provide shelter for homeless youth. Created through a cooperative effort between the City of Clarksburg and the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services, Genesis has become the first step to a new beginning for thousands of at-risk youth.
Over the years, the nature of our work has changed but our mission, to provide a safe haven for children that fosters hope, has remained unyieldingly the same.
