Hopewell was established as a not-for-profit organization in 1993 by Cleveland native Clara T. Rankin. Our first residents (residential clients) were accepted in 1996.
Hopewell is the only therapeutic farm community in Ohio and one of only a handful in the United States. We are licensed to serve up to 40 adults. Hopewell employs approximately 60 full-time, part-time and prn clinical, direct care and administrative staff.
We help individuals understand the importance of their medications, develop the skills necessary to live more independently, build self-confidence, return to school or find jobs and experience personal success.
