InterveningEarly.org: The PLAY Project
Resource Details
In The PLAY Project, trained professionals support parents and other caregivers to deliver an intensive, relationship-based intervention for their child with autism. As the name suggests, it involves play-based activities, tailored for each child based on their developmental level, that parent and child do together.
The Childhood League Center is working in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and Relate & Grow, to support and empower parents through an early, intensive autism intervention called the PLAY Project in which parents are trained to deliver interventions themselves with the help of trained experts.
