The Mayerson Center for Safe and Healthy Children at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is a premier program that has helped set the national standard for enhancing and strengthening evaluations of child abuse. We are a child advocacy center operating in the division of child abuse and neglect, and conduct state-of-the-art diagnostic, treatment, prevention and training programs, as well as cutting-edge research in the field of child sexual abuse, child physical abuse, child neglect and parenting. Services available for individuals age birth through 21 years. Several evidence-based interventions are available, including:
Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy
Parent-child interaction therapy
Child and family traumatic stress intervention
Child-adult relationship enhancement (CARE)
Stepped care trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy
