Miami Valley Housing Opportunities (MVHO) is a non-profit organization focused exclusively on creating permanent, supportive housing solutions for homeless persons with mental illness, chemical dependency, and other disabilities throughout Montgomery County. Through our housing programs and homeless outreach services, we serve nearly 1,200 individuals.
Supportive housing means that, in addition to providing housing, the social service needs of our tenants are also addressed. These services include case management, job counseling, mental health services, chemical dependency counseling, and transportation. We work collaboratively with social service providers in the community to link our tenants with the services they need to live independently.
