Milestone Centers Inc. is a community-based nonprofit organization that has been improving lives in Western Pennsylvania since 1969. Founded originally as “Allegheny East”, Milestone provides a continuum of support, treatment, residential and vocational services to individuals with behavioral health challenges and developmental disabilities.
Milestone programs also include day treatment, children's’ counseling, wellness initiatives and a client drop-in center in Wilkinsburg.
Milestone serves more than 2,700 clients annually in Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties. Furthermore, Milestone sets the standard by providing clinical training to professionals from other developmental disability providers in 18 additional Western Pennsylvania counties.
