Mountain State Centers for Independent Living staff provide peer support and offer guidance and encouragement to individuals in making appropriate decisions regarding their day-to-day lives.
Advocacy is the core of our organization. We believe that by focusing on advocacy and teaching people with disabilities self-advocacy skills, our vision and mission can be achieved.
Our Community Resource Advocates are responsible for providing the five core services our centers provide. Our goal is to assist people with disabilities in becoming a self-advocate and making informed choices in managing their lives. Each of our Community Resource Advocates is able to assist our consumers with the five core services available at Mountain State Centers for Independent living:
