National Gateway to Self-Determination

The National Gateway to Self-Determination is a consortium of five primary University Center on Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs) and the Association of University Centers on Disability (AUCD).
The overarching goal of the NGSD is to assist in reducing the gap that exists between the promise and reality of efforts to promote self-determination by the adoption of a social-ecological model for evaluating and dissemination information about promising and evidence-based methods, materials, and strategies that promote self-determination and improve the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilitites throughout the lifespan.
