At some point in their lives, most Americans will be exposed to some form of psychological trauma. Whether it’s from violence or abuse or a profound loss, trauma can adversely affect a survivor’s outlook on life and their ability to interact with the world.
We are a dedicated team whose sole purpose is the identification, education and treatment of those who have survived trauma and the people who support them.

The Stress, Trauma and Resilience (STAR) Program at the Ohio State Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health offers programs and services in three basic areas.
