Ritchie Regional Health Center (RRHC) was established in 1994 as part of a pilot school-based health center program. Based in Ritchie County High School, RRHC offered health care services to students, staff, and teachers. Today, RRHC offers primary care services at seven campuses across Doddridge, Pleasants, Ritchie, and Wood counties.
In addition to being primary care centers, five of RRHC’s campuses are also designated as School-Based Health Centers (SBHC). These clinics are located within school grounds and can support the schools (teachers, students, staff); however, they are also open to provide clinical services to the student’s parents and the community-at-large.
