Our SafeHaven sites in Darke, Miami, and Shelby Counties have a daily structure of classes, support groups, and fun activities. You'll be welcomed and encouraged, but your participation in things is completely your choice. Enjoy daily free meals, and free transportation from your residence to our sites and back home. We also have monthly field trips, holiday events, parties and fun events, and much more. In other programming, we offer a HOPE-Line support line for after hours support, and we offer an organizational payeeship as well.
Most of our staff are mental health consumers who have been there...who have felt the pain and suffering that untreated mental illness can bring. They're here to show that you can get better too, and they are here to help guide and support you. The most important thing our members say is that they feel like they are part of a family here and that they're really cared about.
