The Ski\*Hi Program is a home-based, preschool/parent education program for, deaf and hard of hearing children., The goal of Ski\*Hi is to use a, child’s natural environment to improve, and increase the child’s language and, communications skills. The program also, focuses on developing and improving, auditory and speech skills., A Parent Advisor will make one weekly, hour long visit to the home. During this, time, the Advisor will help parents develop, an understanding of their child’s hearing, loss and acquire skills to assist their child, in reaching his full potential.
