Our mission is to assist individuals to become more independent within our community.
Society for Equal Access Independent Living Center has been in operation since April of 1990. We are a consumer controlled, cross disability, private not-for-profit organization operated by individuals with disabilities for individuals with disabilities. Society for Equal Access currently provides services to residents of Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson and Tuscarawas counties in Ohio.
Society for Equal Access has a non-discrimination policy in effect that is supported through outreach efforts. Individuals with disabilities are eligible to become participants without regards to race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, age, educational background or disability. Participants set and work toward fulfillment of self-directed independent living goals.
