Solid Starts is a web resource for parents who want to pursue baby-led-weaning as their child's first introduction to solid foods. This finger fed foods approach involves letting go of the impulse to control every spoonful and letting go of the expectation that you should make one meal for your baby and another for everyone else.
The Solid Starts team recommends letting babies feed themselves with their fingers in pursuit of developmental benefits that can come along with doing so. They offer recipes, safety tools, and a database of infant safe first foods.
