Mission: Improve the community's response to child abuse & neglect & lessen the negative impact of abuse on children. Using a coordinated, collaborative model, the Center provides direct services for children referred for concerns of sexual abuse and for their non-offending caregivers. Professionally trained staff members provide specialized interviews, medical evaluations, treatment, and follow-up for alleged child victims. Children and their non-offending caregivers receive specialized advocacy and support, including on-going support and court accompaniment throughout the investigative and court process. Other services include community education and training in recognizing, responding to, reporting, and preventing child abuse and child sexual abuse.
