The mission of The Children's Center of Medina County is to reduce trauma by providing a pathway to healing for children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, and exploitation. The Children's Center provides Child Advocacy Center Services, Anti-Human Trafficking Services and Family Visitation Center Services.
The Child Advocacy Center provides healing treatment to Medina County children that have been abused or neglected in a nurturing, friendly and safe environment. With the focus on reducing trauma to the child, our nationally accredited Child Advocacy Center coordinates the services of law enforcement, prosecution, comprehensive medical evaluations, and advocacy in one location.
The Children’s Center also provides anti-human trafficking risk-assessments and awareness training throughout the community. The Center houses the Medina County Coalition Against Human Trafficking which provides anti-human trafficking awareness events.
At our Family Visitation Center, children in foster care spend time in a safe, supervised setting with their family during their time of separation.
