The University of Cincinnati UCEDD (UCCEDD) at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is a leader in working with and on behalf of children and adults with disabilities and their families so they can lead the lives they want.
Activities of UCCEDD:
•Interdisciplinary training of students and professionals on developmental disabilities
•Research and analysis to develop new knowledge on disability that can be applied to programs and policies
•Information sharing and technical assistance for the community at large on best practices in disabilities and new information
•Community Education and Collaboration: education and training for community members; developing model services and programs to support full participation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in communities
