The main aim of WV Asthma Education and Prevention Program (WVAEPP) is to ensure all the state and private asthma education facilities are performing their functions. Their main functions lie in the education using the following aspects:
early diagnosis;
timely treatment;
enhanced guideline on applying and the demand for medical therapy in the form of asthma inhalers;
education on recognizing and avoiding asthma triggers;
enhancing the quality of life for those suffering from asthma.
The WV Asthma Education and Prevention Program is devoted to increasing collaboration between health-related asthma patterns and facilities the broads of the state. Having such a collaboration, our main objective is to enhance the method to gain access to certified resources like the guidelines from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP).
