Wish Granting & Recreation

When a child’s health and medical needs become the central focus in their family’s lives, it can be easy to forget to make time for things that make life worth living. There are numerous organizations with opportunities available to bring joy into the life of a child with serious medical condition. Opportunities vary by organization and range from small gifts and care packages, to tickets to an event or activity, to fully funded vacations and experiences.

More About Wish Granting Opportunities:

Before contacting an organization or applying for a wish-granting opportunity, take the time to read through what is included in the gift, and the requirements for a successful application.

  • Some experiences or gifts may be fully funded by a foundation or organization, while others may require a deposit or other investment on the part of the recipient.

  • All organizations have their own unique requirements related to age, medical condition, prognosis, and geographical location, and almost all require documentation from a healthcare professional.
